A LETTER FOR A WORLD IN PEACE, AND PEACE BASED ON THE TRUTH.

1.500.000 human beings were sistematically and cruelly killed by Turkey between 1915 and 1923. Their "crime": to be armenians, be part of a pacific people, carrier of a very ancient culture that has been sharing with all the rest of the world over the centuries.

There is only ONE WORD to describe what turkish state commited: GENOCIDE.

A very particular genocide: denied by several countries, because of the powerful lobby disposed by turkish state to avoid the recognition of the armenian genocide.

A very particular genocide, that is still in progress, with  new victims, as honest turkish citizens that work for  peace based on the  truth. The name of the journalist Hrant Dink, assasinated January 19 th , 2007, in Istambul, is a paradigmatic example.

Most of us do not belong to the armenian community But we DO believe in Justice, Peace and Truth. And we DO believe that there is no "others" in this world when there is a genocide involved.

That is why we kindly ask YOU to join us.

To help us to spread this message, but, most of all, to ASK IF YOUR COUNTRY has recognized the ARMENIAN GENOCIDE. And if were not the case, to request your national and local leaders to honour the human condition, by means of the recognition of the most denied genocide of modern history.

FOR A WORLD IN PEACE; FOR A PEACE BASED ON THE TRUTH, WE ASK YOU TO JOIN US TO SAY  THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE WAS COMMITED BY TURKEY BETWEEN 1915 AND 1923, AND ITS RECOGNITION IS A KEY STEP FOR A NEW AND PEACEFUL WORLD FOR EVERYBODY, DESPITE ORIGINS, BELIEFS AND TOUGHTS.
